Under his cloak he wears clothes similar to the rest of Akatsuki: mesh armour with navy accents under an identical T-shirt with a simple white belt around the waist and dark blue pants. He wears light blue nail polish on his fingers and toes and a necklace that had three silver rings with red gems inside them.When he eventually returns to the Hidden Leaf, his appearance is most similar to that of Kakashi Hatake after the 4th Great Ninja War. A redesigned Konoha black flak jacket, dark blue pants, and a long-sleeve shirt. He also wears fingerless gloves with metal plates on the backhand and black boots instead of sandals. PERSONALITY
From a young age, Itachi was calm and insightful, showing noticeable maturity for his age and knowledge on how to deal with every situation. For all his accomplishments, talent, and fame, Itachi was a rather humble man. Never arrogant about his own abilities nor underestimating others, most things he said would be unbiased and accurate. If an opponent exceeded his expectations or posed a legitimate challenge to him or his allies, Itachi would freely admit it.This same personality stayed with him even as he was forced to turn his back on his village. Thanks to Danzo's manipulation in his decision, Itachi hesitantly was forced into killing off the entire Uchiha Clan, except for his younger brother Sasuke. While this very act tormented his soul, he always had Konoha's wellbeing as the primary focus in his life. While Itachi was forced to come off as cold and unfeeling, there remained small sparks within him that hoped that one day he may be able to be seen as the kind, wise elder brother that Sasuke once saw him as.

However, this version of Itachi has a few events that changed his life rather drastically...One such event was Itachi contracting the terminal illness that set his life on a timer when he was in the ANBU for Konoha. In the course of this timeline, Itachi remained illness free and was able to thrive throughout his life without anything holding him back, making him a much more formidable Shinobi. Without a sickness to hold him back, he saw no need to put Shisui's eye into a crow and used it for one of his own eyes instead.When Itachi made the decision to kill of the Uchiha clan, he made two requests to the Hokage and three to Madara Uchiha who was planning on attacking the entirety of Konoha. To the Hokage, he requested that Sasuke would be looked over and that Izumi be taken into hiding. Whether that was in the village or outside of it in a safe house that nobody would be able to find, it didn't matter so long as she was safe. To Madara, he requested the same. That Sasuke and Izumi be spared. His third request obviously making sure the Village wouldn't ever be attacked. Both would agree to Itachi's terms. Izumi would be taken out of her home while asleep before being taken into the Hidden Leaf by Madara, set in the Hokage's Office without even being seen. The rest of the clan would be slaughtered, with Sasuke watching Itachi finish off their parents as per the normal story.After the Uchiha Clan massacre, Itachi still went on to become an Akatsuki. He played his role as best as possible, still aiming to become a villain for Sasuke to one day slay, and still helping them to try and collect Jinchūriki. What the members of said group didn't realize, however, was that Itachi was also being an informant for Jiraiya and the Hidden Leaf. Even more so compared to the original story thanks to his overwhelming abilities. Thanks to his mastery of Ninjutsu and Genjutsu, it was fairly easy for him to sneak the Legendary Sannin information whenever he was able to. This led to Itachi also quickly learning some rather major secrets about the supposed leader of the group, Pain.The longer he stayed with the Akatsuki, the bigger the edge Itachi was given on the members. Fighting styles, weaknesses, strengths, preferred Jutsu. And how to even kill several of them. While he continued to also pass this information on so that the Hidden Leaf would have a leg up on the rogue ninja, it also gave Itachi plenty of time to prepare himself for the fights he knew were to come in the coming years.The day eventually came about where Sasuke and Itachi were to face off after several years of training had went by for the younger Uchiha. As Itachi laid in waiting for the younger sibling to arrive, he contemplated on what his next move should be. Four members of the Akatsuki had already fallen thanks to the Hidden Leaf and Sasuke: Sasori, Kakazu, Deidara, and Hidan. All of them had met a swift end thanks to the skilled Shinobi of the Leaf paired with the knowledge that Itachi had passed along, but casualties still unfortunately occurred with both Asuma and Granny Chiyo. Unfortunately, not everyone could be saved and some events still needed to occur. Which is why Itachi had to pause for a moment. Should Sasuke kill him off...there'd be no chance for Itachi to take down the group's leader as he planned. And he couldn't let the sacrifices made be in vain.While Itachi would wait for Sasuke to arrive, another battle was taking place. Jiraiya verses Pain. On the outside, this fight would seem rather unfavorable to the Legendary Sannin, having an 7 on 1 fight to take care of, including Konan who watched the dispute from far above the battlefield. It seemed as though the tide had quickly managed to turn in Jiraiya's favor, however, as an elite squad of Anbu from the Hidden Leaf, Team Guy, and the remaining members of Team Asuma would swarm onto the battlefield and quickly overwhelm the Six Paths of Pain with their surprise attack that Shikamaru himself had developed ahead of time. Konan watched in shock before she would suddenly have a Kunai placed at her throat by Jiraiya, demanding she take him to see Nagato.Thus, the battle between brothers would commence. Before Itachi was able to try and talk to Sasuke in any sort of way, however, it seemed as though the younger brother was Hell bent on ending Itachi's life. The fated clash between brothers went near identical to the one the fans of the original series know and love, with one major change. Seeing as how Itachi wasn't in such a sick condition as he was in the original series, he merely acted pressured by the younger sibling before bringing out his Susanno. As Sasuke and Zetsu watched in awe, one lightning flash glance at both would force both the Akatsuki member and Itachi's younger brother into one last Genjutsu. One that made it seem as though Itachi had failed to "take Sasuke's eyes" and where he had died suddenly after tapping Sasuke on the forehead.After letting a clone of himself take the collapsed position to make the event into a fake reality, Itachi would hide his chakra before disappearing. Sasuke would soon collapse after from exhaustion and Zetsu would disappear himself to find the Akatsuki member that was still known as Tobi, who had been stalling several Hidden Leaf Ninja that were determined to take Sasuke home.As Zetsu disappeared, however, Itachi would reappear to the scene and steal away his younger brother. He then would move to where Kisame was fighting against the remaining members of the Hebi. Stopping the fight, Itachi explained they had no time to waste and that Sasuke's comrades would have to follow him if they wanted their leader back. Kisame was going to argue at first, but one glare from Itachi silenced his partner as they would disappear quickly into the forest.Hours later in a bunker that Jiraiya had procured for Itachi years prior, Itachi would let Karin heal his younger brother while making sure both Jugo and Suigetsu understood that he would reveal what was going on in due time. While waiting for the younger Uchiha to wake up, Itachi brought Kisame into a different area of the bunker before quickly ending his partner's life. As much as he felt that the Akatsuki member might have been able to help him in the fights to come, Itachi knew better than to trust any member of the Akatsuki. Especially as Jiraiya brought the Six Paths of Pain, Konan, and Nagato into the bunker himself for interrogation with the Anbu members and Shikamaru. Seeing as the combined team of Naruto, Sakura, Kakashi, Yamato, Hinata, Kiba, and Shino were nearby, Jiraiya also had brought both Kakashi and Naruto down into the bunker, leaving the other Shinobi just outside to keep watch. Naruto initially wanted to jump Itachi, however Kakashi was able to keep the Nine Tails Jinchūriki from doing so until Jiraiya was able to briefly explain that Itachi was in fact still, and always had been, on the side of the Konohagakure. Itachi promised Naruto that he would eventually hear the full story sooner rather than later.Nagato wouldn't even flinch as he saw Itachi...it had seemed the leader of the Akatsuki knew well and good that someone had been giving the Leaf intel once they had been captured. So it was only a matter of time before the interrogation led to Nagato realizing there was a better chance for peace in their world that would involve less death as a whole. With Naruto taking the lead and being able to easily convince the weakened Akatsuki Leader. It seemed as though the Legendary Knuckleheaded Ninja of the Leaf was destined to change the fellow Uzumaki clan member. That's when Nagato asked Itachi to take his eyes from him. A shocked Itachi would question why, only to find out that Nagato had did his research on the Uchiha and on Itachi, thus knowing as well that one of Itachi's eyes would be forced to blindness very soon. Before Itachi could even ask how he knew that Shisui had given up one of his eyes to Itachi before his death, Nagato simply smile as he shook his head. "It was a feeling." It's all that needed to be said. One of the Anbu was a medic trained by Tsunade, so they offered to help with the transplant before Itachi would ask if his younger brother would be able to receive the second eye.The surgery on the brothers took only moments and Itachi would take and wrap his new eye up to make sure that he wouldn't need to worry about any bleeding while he made sure his eyes was transplanted into Sasuke's right eye to prevent his younger brother from having to worry about going blind. A few hours passed before Sasuke would finally awake, only to be shocked in horror by the sound of his brother's voice. Before Sasuke could try to rip at the bandages, however, it was time for Itachi to tell his story with Shikamaru stopping Sasuke from being so rash with his Shadow Possession Jutsu. Naruto, Kakashi, Shikamaru, the Anbu, Sasuke, Hebi. They all would listen intently as Itachi told his story, with Jiraiya filling in various blanks that were missing from it. It seemed almost too good to be true. But Naruto had locked eyes with Itachi at the end of the story and, with a nod, understood and accepted it as truth without much of an argument. While Shikamaru told the Jinchūriki they should wait until the Interrogation Team back in Konoha could search Itachi's memories, Naruto would shake his head with a confident smile. The Light of the Hidden Leaf was burning bright in Itachi and Naruto could tell just by instinct.It took some time for Sasuke to process what was told to him...but he knew it to be truth as even Jiraiya would put in the facts that Itachi was feeding the Leaf intel all those years. As Sasuke unwrapped his bandages, Itachi would do the same as the brothers would look at each other peacefully for the first time in years. The younger sibling eventually standing up and walking over to his older brother, only to embrace him tightly. As much as Sasuke wanted to hate Itachi for doing what he did, his hatred burned even brighter for Danzo instead. As they decided on their next move, Konan would suddenly make herself known as she would take Nagato's body away with the two eyes from the Uchiha placed into the eye sockets in order to hopefully be a decoy for them.This would lead Itachi to going back to the Hidden Leaf. The Leaf Anbu, Jiraiya, the rest of the Leaf Shinobi, and the new group known as Taka would all follow behind him as they made their way to the village gates. Kakashi of course promised the rest of the Leaf Shinobi that he could explain the events to everyone so Itachi wouldn't have to later, in private. As they walked through the gates, promptly, the Anbu would take the Taka, Jiraiya, and Itachi up into the Hokage's office, where they would have to explain all of the events that had occurred and how the 3rd Hokage and Danzo were both at fault for the Uchiha Clan Massacre. Tsunade would take charge after listening intently to every last detail, ordering the Anbu, Itachi, the Taka, and even Team Kakashi all raid the Anbu Root headquarters and take Danzo into custody, where he would be locked up in a Leaf prison cell till the end of his days. The two elder Advisors of the Leaf, Homura Mitokado and Koharu Utatane, were taken in by Team Asuma and Team Guy for the same crimes. It wouldn't take long thanks to Inoichi Yamanaka's specialty mind-reading jutsu to uncover that Itachi was telling the truth the entire time, and that he was mentally suffering from the Uchiha Massacre even still. As Danzo and the Advisors were about to get locked up, Sasuke would attempt to pull his sword on the former Root Leader only to have Itachi step in between the two of them with a Kunai. Itachi would shake his head, saying "Even if your hatred runs as deeply for him as mine does, the true justice will be letting him rot in a prison cell thanks to his sins whilst knowing that we are on the outside, fighting to protect the Village and working to redeem the Uchiha name." The sword was hesitantly pulled back as Tsunade would request that both Shinobi would meet in her office later on.In Tsunade's office later on, the Hokage would lay down the reality of the Uchiha past. Even if Itachi and Sasuke were publicly given a pardon for their crimes, there would be many in the village that might not believe in it or that would treat them harshly until they could prove their mettle. The two brothers would glance at one another before a sigh from the elder brother would sneak out. "I know of one way we could do it..." Itachi would then give the Hokage the harshest of news thus far: Madara Uchiha was preparing for war against all five Shinobi Nations. The Jinchūriki had all been taken, spare for the eight tails and the nine tails. This would be used to restore the ten tailed beast before then destroying all five nations. The news was shocking to say the least. Biting a nail, Tsunade would go over her options before coming to the conclusion that they would have to call a meeting of all five Kage to discuss the coming war.As the summit approached, Itachi was given the gift of being one of Tsunade's two guards to tag along. The other was Kakashi. This way, if at any point the rest of the five Kage didn't believe the information from Tsunade, then they could hear it directly from Itachi, who would be in disguise for the time being as a Hidden Leaf Anbu member. Sasuke and the remaining members of Taka would be hidden within the village for the time being until they could prove themselves to the rest of the Hidden Leaf. The few Shinobi that knew about them would visit here and there in secret, including Sakura and several others from Sasuke's generation.The meeting with the Kage went off without a hitch...and the five Kage would make the Allied Shinobi Alliance. While the meeting was occurring, Jiraiya took Naruto to learn Sage Mode at Mt. Myoboku. Mastering it in an unbelievably short time, the moment that Naruto returned to the village was the same moment he was informed he would have to be hidden away with the eight tails Jinchūriki, Killer Bee. There, he would learn to master the Kyuubi chakra while Itachi would go back to Konoha to train with Sasuke on how to better use their new eyes along with new techniques for both of them. There, Itachi would also help Sasuke through some more of the anger and hatred that his little brother still seemed to cling onto so desperately. The remaining members of Taka would go off to search Orochimaru's nearby hideouts, bringing back the scroll to help unseal Orochimaru's arms. While Sasuke was hesitant to bring him back, he would after Itachi eased his concerns, reassuring the younger brother that they could take care of any threat they could possibly run into together. With the Snake Sannin back to life, it seemed as though things were on track for the 4th Shinobi War to kick off.The war would begin as Naruto, Sasuke, and Itachi were all finishing their training. It didn't take long for the Allied Shinobi Alliance to start getting overwhelmed...which is when Itachi and Taka would be called to the battlefield to make quick work of the dead that Kabuto had raised, the White Zetsu swarming the battlefield, and Kabuto himself. Kabuto would instead fall to Itachi's Tsukuyomi instead of the Izanami, being forced to live for weeks on end until the Snake Sage would realize the truth about who he really was, all within just an hour.

The rest of the Ninja War panned out fairly similar to how it does in the main series. Itachi was a pivotal force on the front lines of it, however, and managed to save a great amount of Shinobi that would've died. He even managed to help the five Kage in their fight against Madara, making sure to keep his ancestor pressured and helping to keep the damage to the five Kage to a minimum.However...as all things do, when one change occurs in a timeline, fate and the world demand that things be corrected in certain ways.When Obito Uchiha, the man thought to be Madara, launched his attack on Naruto using the Ten Tails, Neji Hyuga was actually the first to dive in front of the blonde Jinchūriki...and Hinata would then dive in the line of the attack to protect Neji and her love. As Naruto would hold the one woman that had always been watching him from the sidelines, she would confess her love before taking her last breath. Neji would be the one most distraught and Tenten would need to be the person to snap him out of it with a good slap. Naruto's anger was near dangerous levels, but Kurama helped the Shinobi to calm himself to focus on the fight at hand.This is when Orochimaru would bring the back the four Hokage of the past back to life with his Edo Tensei. With the former Hokage to help them, Itachi would manage to take and throw Obito into his Tsukuyomi, trapping him within it thanks to the Rinnegan that he had obtained increasing the power of the Genjutsu. Madara, rather disappointed with the young Uchiha he had groomed up, would knock the young man out to take him out of the Genjutsu. While he was able to take him out of it, it would also render him to be forced to take other measures in order to complete his plan. With Black Zetsu at his command, Madara would take and use it to steal the same Rinnegan that Itachi had just used against him. As Sakura would rush to him in order to at least stop the bleeding, Black Zetsu would move and take control of the Sannin Jiraiya, who hadn't been paying attention to what had happened to Itachi, but instead was rushing to attack Madara. Before anyone would be able to unfortunately stop him, Jiraiya would be forced to use the Rinne Rebirth to bring Madara back to life. With the Legendary Sannin collapsing afterwards, Black Zetsu would go back to Madara to then give him the Rinnegan that was stolen.Afterwards, Madara would take and extract the Tailed Beasts, killing Naruto in the process as Gaara would rush him off per Kurama's orders to try and save the hero of the Leaf. Shortly after that, Sasuke would attempt to kill Madara in order to try and get revenge for stealing Itachi's eye, only to get stabbed as he did in the original series and getting his Rinnegan stolen. Around the same time, Obito would awake to be greeted by Kakashi who held a kunai knife at his former comrade's throat as he awoke. After a longer conversation, Obito would come to realize his mistakes at last thanks to seeing Naruto rushing off by himself to try and take on Madara. The light that he carried seemed to shine bright within the former Leaf Shinobi and Obito would agree to try and take down the tree while Kakashi would go off to try and assist Naruto and Minato.As Kabuto would take to the scene to save Sasuke, Gaara would rush to the 4th Hokage with Sakura and Itachi in tow. With Itachi there to help, Naruto would have the other half of Kurama put back within him without any issues. While holding off Black Zetsu, who was using Jiraiya's body to fight, and Madara, who had become the 10 Tails Jinchūriki, Naruto and Sasuke would meet the Sage of Six Paths to gain the powers to stop the near unstoppable Uchiha and they would take to the battlefield once again.After Naruto would heal Might Guy from the near death experience that he had, he went to Itachi to try and give him an eye again. Itachi, however refused. "Focus on the fight before us...we've got a long way to go before we can afford time to heal insignificant wounds."The rest of the fight would commence similar to the original story, with Itachi helping Sasuke, Naruto, Sakura, and Kakashi to fight off Madara before he would commence the Infinite Tsukuyomi. Seeing as Itachi was right with Team 7, he was able to avoid the effects of the Genjutsu as well. Kakashi would then have Sakura temporarily transplant his Sharingan to Itachi in order to give the Uchiha access to his Susanno. Then, Kaguya would make her appearance shortly after. The group would work together to take down the Ōtsutsuki with Itachi using his Susanno to help protect his comrades from some of her more deadly attacks. In the end, Naruto, Sasuke, and Sakura would succeed in sealing the Goddess before the Sage of Six Paths would summon them back to their dimension with the help of all the former Kage.Upon meeting the group, Sakura would help Itachi to give Kakashi back his eye and Naruto would walk over to heal Itachi's eye before the Sage would beat the blonde Shinobi to the punch. Itachi would be bestowed a Rinnegan nearly identical to the one Sasuke was given thanks to all of his efforts throughout the war. Naruto and Sasuke would then dispel the effects of the Infinite Tsukuyomi before the members of the Allied Shinobi Alliance would all celebrate and grieve their losses at the same time.Itachi would return to the Leaf as a hero, just as Sasuke would. They would be pardoned of their past crimes by all of the Kage and Itachi would even go on to become a Jonin that the village knew they could rely on in case of emergency. Thanks to this era of peace that was coming about, Itachi also was able to master the five different natures of Jutsu in his spare time and he would primarily use Fire, Wind, and Lightning releases on missions. Sasuke would still go on a trip by himself to try and make up for his sins, but thanks to his older brother's influence, the younger Uchiha would be closer than ever to his former comrades and make frequent trips back in order to see his family born by the bonds they had created. Obito would be taken back to the Leaf as a prisoner of war, however, after some deep dive interrogations that would last several months, the Leaf would eventually let him become a Shinobi once again, though he would have to start off at the Genin level and relearn what it meant to be a loyal member of the Hidden Leaf.

Ability Info and Other Info

ABILITIESItachi's abilities are far greater than what they were originally thanks to his body not being restrained as it was thanks to having to focus on surviving the virus. Because of this, his power now dwarfs his abilities in comparison and he even has a perfected Susanno that makes even Madara's look weak in comparison. Having a mastery of every nature release makes it so he is a dangerous opponent on the battlefield and his Genjutsu is considered to be unrivaled in the new age of Shinobi.WEAPONS/ITEMSItachi has gone back to his roots as a Shinobi since returning to the village. As hesitant as he was to use a sword again after the Uchiha Clan Massacre, it is the only weapon he'll use on the battlefield other than Shuriken. He's known to keep several pieces of emergency medical equipment on him as well in case he or another Shinobi get injured severely, but in most cases he'll rely more on some basic medical Ninjutsu that he had Sakura teach him during the Blank Period for smaller wounds.
